If word of mouth around the local streets of Tring have not carried our reputation far enough, Culture Bakery has been a staple of the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire culinary scene for almost five years now. As a wholesale business, we have been supplying independent and innovating local businesses since 2017, and have taken the exciting step of opening our first café on Tring High Street in the December of 2021. Here we welcome all to enjoy a hand made pastry with an excellent coffee, prepared by highly skilled artisan bakers and delivered by the friendliest of staff.
We take great care in producing baked goods to the highest quality and are looking to expand our offering with cooked food. As big fans of our bread - and rightly so - we think it would be a great shame to not have a bread based breakfast and lunch menu. Initially, this would involve sandwiches and toasties, expanding out into other dishes.
Candidates must be
able to work 09.00 - 15.00
creative and interested in developing new menu items and working with seasonal ingredients
a good team player
Responsibilities include
prep work for the lunch service
working methodically and calmly, irrespective of busy rushes
developing new menu items and taking responsibility for the range and changing with the seasons
ensuring cleanliness and order of the kitchen
taking regular stock checks and ordering of ingredients
communicating well with the front of house team
complying with food safety regulations
Benefits of the role include
